MAC Goaltending Coronavirus (COVID-19 Updates)
Bryan and the MAC Staff have closely been monitoring the global situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and have been taking steps to ensure the health of wellness of the MAC family. At this time we have temporarily suspended in-person activities, with respect to the New York State and Vermont guidelines. We believe that this is in the best interest of everyone involved, and we thank you for your patience and understanding. This page will continue to be updated as we learn more and this situation evolves.
Private Training at Randall's Rink
At this point in time we have temporarily suspended all weekly lessons and private training at Randall's Rink. When it is safe to do so, these lessons will resume along their regular schedule.
While our June 15th camp in Burlington, Vermont has been postponed, we expect the remainder of the summer schedule to proceed as schedules. We will be taking every precaution to ensure the health and well being of our students, staff, and goalie families.
March 30: USA Hockey has suspended tryouts for all member organizations indefinitely. Once tryouts are allowed to continue, MAC Goaltending will update our programs to accommodate our goaltender's needs. Please note that many rinks have removed their ice as a cost saving measure during the shutdown. Once they are allowed to reopen, there will be a period of time in which ice must be rebuilt, and tryouts will not be able to be held until after major rinks have returned to regular operations. This delay will allow time for us to run programs at Randall's Rink for our goaltenders prior to tryouts.
March 29: US Government extends Stay at home guidelines through April 30th.
March 16: USA Hockey cancels Nationals and suggest that member organizations will not be able to continue team activities and tryouts until after April 7th, at the earliest.
